Inuka Mkenya is a 10 week governance and civic engagement Program aimed at promoting values driven governance in the public, private and civic sectors of Kenya and advocating for inclusion of youth in policy formulation and governance. It focusses on young leaders and politicians between the age of 22 and 40 and aims at instilling skills and providing networks necessary to drive change in their societies and to effectively engage in governance processes.
SALT is a transformative program designed to equip college/university-going students and aspiring changemakers with essential skills in governance, civic engagement, and leadership. Rooted in Kenya’s rich history of impactful student activism, SALT seeks to revive the spirit of social responsibility and empower youth to actively hold institutions and governments accountable. Through interactive training modules, the program enhances participants’ capacity in public speaking, advocacy, personal branding, and civic education—preparing them to become credible, influential, and values-driven leaders. By engaging student leaders and changemakers, SALT fosters a new generation of socially conscious youth ready to lead with integrity and drive meaningful change in society.
